Easy To Make Vegan Tuna

Any tuna lovers out there?

Tuna took some time to grow on me when I was a meat-eater. I love the texture, but not the smell. And then the whole idea of mercury poisoning was horrendous.

Well, I'm so glad I'm now vegan, cause I no longer have to worry about the smell, the mercury, the taste, or anything else. I can just eat it and be energized.

You can make this recipe in like 5 minutes and inhale it in 5 seconds because it's that's good.

So let's dive in! Shall we 😃

Ingredients

  • 1 can or 1/2 cups rinsed and drained chickpeas
  • 1/4 cup veganaise
  • 2 tbsp raw sunflower seeds
  • 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 stalk chopped green onion (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp herbs de Provence (optional)
  • 1/2 tbsp Kelp Flakes

Method

  • Use a fork or potato masher and crush chickpeas.
  • Mix all ingredients together in a bowl
  • Adjust seasonings to taste.
  • Serve immediately by itself, with crackers, over a salad or with bread as a sandwich.
  • Enjoy.

I feel like the kelp flakes really make this dish memorable! It. It gives it great takes, but also adds a must needed burst of iodine that's needed in our every diet as vegans!

Enjoy!
