Party Pleaser Spinach Dip (vegan style)

When I first discovered I was allergic to dairy several years ago, I tried my best to avoid it. I also tried to forget that it existed and soon I had accomplished my dream 😂 

What I didn't know was that I would be traveling down this road again.. this time for the sake of my hubby who recently went vegetarian and loves to have a new dish here and there. One of his main requirement though: 

" it has to be tasty" 😋 😂 😝 

Fair enough! Challenge Accepted. 

At a recent poker night, I decided to debut my recipe.... and it was a hit. So I'm sharing it with you below.

  • 1 bunch spinach (about 4-5 cups chopped)
  • 1/2 cup veganaise
  • 10 ounce of vegan cream cheese
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • paprika (for colorr effect)


  1. Cook your onion until translucent
  2. Add in your spinach and cook until wilted, around 5 minutes
  3. Season with salt and pepper 
  4. Let mixture cool, and drain excess liquid if desired
  5. Combine spinach mixture with cream cheese and veganaise
  6. Season with more salt and pepper if desired. 
  7. Put in serving bowl or bread bowl and let cool in the fridge. 
  8. Enjoy! 😊
